Montreal Is Opening An All-New "Neapolitan Pizza" Restaurant
Something crispy and delicious to look forward to.
Friends, those of us who love pizza know one thing: no two slices are alike. And, taking it a step further, no two pies are alike. There are all kinds of types of pizza in Montreal, but my personal favourite has to be that delicious, crispy, slightly charred delight that comes straight out of a hot wood-burning oven.
And now, Montreal has a new place to enjoy a delicious, wood-burned pizza. Fiorellino (470 Rue de la Gauchetière O) is an Italian restaurant, spearheaded by the geniuses behind Buonanotte. Although it's only been open for a little over a month, it's already been making some serious waves.
Fiorellino's menu features traditional Italian fare, such as salumi, pasta (including gnocchi), and desserts. Their pizzas come in two options: you can either have pizza "rosso", with a base of tomato sauce, or "bianco", without sauce. Both options feature pizzas that have been cooked in a wood burning oven, and with toppings that range from traditional to less common - such as their cream, corn, and prosciutto pizza bianco. If this place sounds like your new fave, then don't forget to check out their Facebook for more information.
