Montreal is a culturally diverse city, right? So why is it so hard to find food stores that are catered towards specific cultures and ethnicities. I'm not talking about those food stores that have one row dedicated to ethnic food and ingredients. No. I'm talking about the real-deal, imported shit, that comes directly from the home-land.
If you love to cook, and are on the hunt for some of Montreal's ethnic food stores, that offer you a taste of authenticity when it comes to cooking up a cultural and ethnic storm, here are a few suggestions:

All in all, it's totally worth every penny. Berchicci is located in Montreal's east-end, and is the one place in Montreal you'll find everything you need to cook a full course Italian feast, and by feast, I mean 50,000 calories later.
