You Can Go Polar Bear Watching In Northern Quebec

Best Summer vacation ever.

So if you've ever gone camping before you've probably seen a deer, maybe a moose, or even a coyote or a black bear. You've also seen some pretty cool sunsets and skies, even if you've never left the city.

But what if I told you that it's totally possible to be up close with a polar bear, arctic seals, and the breathaking view of the Northern lights all while staying in Quebec?

Nunavik, Quebec (which is as North as you can get in the province) is an extremely remote but equally tranquil location where you can travel for the most amazing guided tours and excursions, giving you the opportunity to meet polar bears (don't get too close), seals and if you're lucky a few whales in the waters of Ungava Bay.

The best part about all of this is it isn't a typical tour or excursion group. Since this area of Quebec is so isolated and rarely photographed, it's a completely new experience. Inuit locals join you as a guide and let you experience a bit of their day-to-day life. The guided groups are small and really get to know what the natural habitat up there is like. It is truly the most genuine experience with unforgettable memories.

The next tour dates are August 13-18, which is the perfect time of year to see the full beauty of the Northern lights. The only downside is that tickets for the tours can be pretty expesive, but can you really put a price on a once in a lifetime experience like this? If you really want to be able to say you made the most of your Summer vacation, this is something you will definitely have to do at least once.
