One of the most popular brunch restaurants in Montreal is probably L'Avenue. You can easily see proof of this on any given Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine, if you stroll by their Mont-Royal location you will always find a line-up of people outside.
Restaurant L'Avenue is popular because they have honed in on perfecting classic brunch. All the traditional brunch dishes we know and love, are served up efficiently, with friendly service and at a great price, too.
This restaurant's popularity grew so much over the years they even opened up a second location down on Notre Dame West.
Now we know L'Avenue is great, but they have just released a menu item that looks too good to be true, especially for those folks out there who just love sweet breakfast items like pancakes, waffles, and french toast, as much as savory items.
The plate is cheekily called "The Indecisive" and comes with two savory items of your choice and the main attraction pecan pie french toast marinating in dulce de leche, which is like a sweet caramel sauce, for those who don't know.
It looks like a mind-blowing dish. And it's obvious that L'Avenue understands the deep perpetual struggle of the brunch clientele because I love the fact that they include the choice of savory side items, too. Revolutionary.
