But worry not! Montreal has tons of methods to beat out the cold... including having tons of delicious, fantastic pho restaurants. And while every pho restaurant is awesome in its own way, a certain few really stand out.

9460 Boulevard de l'Acadie

This spot is seriously paradise for any pho lover. Their pho soups have a kind of pure quality to them, so that you can really taste each individual ingredient and how it makes the dish shine overall; and although their pho is a huge standout, definitely try their Bun Bo Hue, a spicier soup variation.

2. Pho Tay Ho

Okay, the pho here is phenomenal (pho-nomenal?). The ingredients are super fresh and high quality; and the broth? Literally, it's not normal how good it is. Complex and served up piping hot, and filled to the brim with things like rare beef, flank, and tripe, there's really no way you could go wrong at this pho powerhouse.

Located in Cote-Des-Neiges, this Vietnamese restaurants has dishes that legit cannot be beat. Their pho is particularly magical, and although every dish will have you singing their praises, you totally need to make trying their pho a priority.

This Ahuntsic restaurant seriously takes the cake when it comes to serving pho that's complex, fresh, and incredibly tasty. Even though their pho is clearly the star of the show here, don't let that stop you from trying their other dishes - everything here will pretty much blow you away.

If you love pho, then you're going to love Nguyen Phi. Actually, scratch that: if you love really, really good pho, then Nguyen Phi is the place to be. Their pho soups are super tasty, and made with the freshest ingredients possible.

Although it might seem like a secluded spot, worry not: Pho Saigon Vietnam is a hidden gem and a half. With tasty dishes, including some seriously on point pho, this Chinatown restaurant is here to make all of your pho dreams come true.

At this stage in the game, I think it's pretty safe to say that every pho lover knows about Pho Bac 97. And that is for one very good reason: this spot is amazing. Expect classic, fragrant phos, high quality ingredients, and the best vibes ever.

Across the street from Montreal's Jewish General Hospital is this super popular, low-key Vietnamese restaurants. Their pho soup is literally the stuff that delicious, soupy dreams are made of, TBH.

Located in downtown Montreal, this Vietnamese restaurant hits the spot perfectly whenever you're in the mood for some seriously excellent dishes. Their pho is top notch, flavoured to perfection and filled with all the best stuff.
