Blue Man Group Spotted On The STM Blue Line In Montreal (Video)

The Blue Man Group, a group known for their exciting, off-the-beaten path shows, are getting a makeover.

TL; DR The Blue Man group is out and about in Montreal right now, and you might be able to see them! Keep your eyes peeled downtown, on the metro, and in stores.

The new director, Benoit Mathieu, is a Quebecer based in Montreal. After working for 18 years with the Cirque du Soleil, Benoit was ready to take on a new challenge, and became the head of the iconic trio.

Now, the Blue Man Group is performing in Montreal, with shows from the 15 to the 17 of February. You might get lucky and be able to catch a glimpse of them outside of the theatre, though: videos emerged showing the Blue Man Group roaming the streets of Montreal.

This is only the third time the Blue Man Group has made an appearance in Quebec: the other times were in 2008 and 2018, respectively. This is strange considering that they have been touring since 1991. Despite their worldwide popularity, the Blue Man Group is still not known by many Quebecers.

The group is hoping to change this. It seems that the group is staging a marketing stunt, performing, aptly, on the STM blue line.

Who knows what they're up to!? In the video, camermen and, presumably, fans and spectators gather around the three men, who are gathered near one of the wagon doors.

Send us your videos if you catch them again!

Stay tuned!
