California Girl Starts Crowdfunding Project So She Can Eat A Montreal Poutine
Crowdfunding projects come in all shapes and sizes (usually triangles). Some project want to change the world, some want to create cool gadgets and others just want to find new and better ways to take selfies.
But every once in awhile a crowdfunding project comes along with a very worthy cause.
I came across a gofundme campaign started by a girl named Lacey. Lacey wants to raise enough money to fulfill her dream. A most noble dream at that. This California girl wants nothing more than to eat an authentic Montreal Poutine.
She says that even though there are now poutines being sold in america, they just aren't prepared correctly (I have to agree here). Plus they often lack the most important part of the poutine, the cheese curds.
Lacey needs enough money to buy a plane ticket from California to Montreal and maybe an extra $10 to cover the cost of the poutine.
