Canada Ranked The #10 Sexiest Country In The World, The U.S. Ranked #45

Canadians' high quality of life, relative happiness, and great personal freedom have apparently had an effect on their physical appearance. According to a new ranking from Big 7 Travel, Canadians actually represent the #10 sexiest nationality in the world.

Yes, that’s right. Canadians beat out notoriously sexy countries like Spain (#16) and Russia (#33) for the coveted tenth position. You may have to scroll pretty far down the list to find out where our friends south of the border rank. Gasp. Americans ranked a measly #45. "Sad," as president Trump might say.

So how did Big 7 Travel compile their list? By polling their social audiences with a simple, “Who is the sexiest nationality?” The only problem with that is ‘sexy’ tends to be deeply personal and highly subjective. Just ask Ireland (sadly landing a firm last place). Has no one heard of Jamie Dornan or Caitriona Balfe, or Guinness for that matter? 

But not everyone was completely convinced of the authority of the list, taking it with a rather large grain of salt. 

We knew we were sexy and we're happy the world knows we’re sexy too. But don't worry, we won't let this go to our head. But excuse us as we take an extra moment primping in the mirror.
