This Is Canada's All-New $10 Bill

Canada is getting brand new bank note!

Governor Stephen S. Poloz and the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance, Ginette Petitpas Taylor, just revealed the new commemorative bank note at 10:00 am Friday Morning.

The new bill pays tribute to Canada’s 150th anniversary and it will be in circulation all over the country by July 1st.

This is only the 4th Commemorative bill ever released by the Bank of Canada and you can see the live reveal right here:

The other three bills were: a $20 that was released when Queen Elizabeth II became the longest-reigning sovereign in Canada’s modern era.

A $1 bill honouring 100th anniversary of the Confederation.

And a $25 bill in honour of the Silver Jubilee of King George V
