
Get excited Canada because we have some great news. Come Christmas we might have a brand new Canadian Holiday to celebrate.
A Saskatchewan MP presented a bill to make June 21st, which is already known as "National Indigenous Peoples Day", into a national statutory holiday.

That means the holiday would be celebrated nationwide and it would also be a PAID day off, which I'm sure we could all use.
The bill already passed a second reading in October and the debate will take place on December 8.
