Canada's All-New $1 Coin

The Royal Canadian Mint has released two new coins to "commemorate the fight for love" and 60 years of the decriminalization of homosexuality in Canada.

The loonie features two faces with the word "Equality" and in French, "Égalité" written around the edges.

Also see is the year 1969, the year that decriminalization of homosexuality in Canada finally happened.

TL;DR The Royal Canadian Mint released a new set of coins today to commemorate the decriminalization of homosexuality in Canada. The coin's face was designed by Canadian artists Joe Average.

In addition to the loonie, seen above, they have also released special coin wrap rolls.

You can also see the 10 dollar coin, below, that is similar to the loonie, but is rainbow coloured, not just all gold.
