TL;DR The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be making its annual run across the country starting in late November, with Montreal one of the first stops on the schedule. The official list of stops has just been revealed, including both Montreal West and Beaconsfield station as routes for the festive train.

For some, these traditions include picking out a real Christmas tree. For others it's going to see the mall Santa Claus.

But for many Canadians, their holiday tradition is to admire the CP Holiday Train as it passes through their city.

Every year the Canadian Pacific train gets decorated front-to-back and makes a massive road trip across the country with performers, music, and of course, Santa Claus for everyone to enjoy at each one of the stops.

To all of our surprise, the CP Holiday Train has officially announced it's schedule for the 2018 season, with stops to both Montreal West and Beaconsfield on Tuesday, November 27!

Last year the city caught a glimpse of the train twice, once at Montreal West station and again at the Beaconsfield station. The celebration lasts about 30 minutes before Old Saint Nick waves goodbye and heads to the next city.

The month-long event begins in late November, so there isn't much time left before we throw away our Halloween costumes and trade it in for this one-night winter wonderland!
