"Don Jon" Is A Movie About Porn That Even Girls Will Want To See

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has come a long way since his days on 3rd Rock From the Sun. The guy has been pretty busy these past few years, making a name for himself in the acting world after having been sporadically in and out of the spotlight for a decade. Gordon-Levitt came back with a vengeance, and showed the world he meant business in Christopher Nolan's Inception and The Dark Knight Rises among others.

Well Gordon-Levitt is taking his career to the next level, going where many actors have gone before: directing. "Don Jon" is Levitt's brainchild, in that he wrote, directed, and starred in the film. Having your own production company helps. And as a first-time effort, it is fantastic.

The plot revolves around Jon Martello Jr., dubbed "Don Jon" buy his close friends because he's a fucking boss. Yes, at his core, Don Jon is an egotistical douche with anger issues who objectifies EVERYTHING, but bear with me. He's also a multi-dimensional character who happens to have a really intense addiction to porn. He loves his body, his "pad", his ride, his family, his church, his boys, his girls, and his porn. Deep stuff.
