Doorstep Video Catches Canada Post Delivery Man Intentionally Failing To Drop Off A Package Without Even Knocking
A Canada Post delivery man was unknowingly captured by a doorstep camera in Ontario this past week, and the video has already gone viral. The footage has attracted a great deal attention because the Canada Post delivery guy basically screwed up big time and was caught red handed in the process.
TL;DR A Canada Post delivery man was caught by a doorstep cam intentionally neglecting to attempt the delievery of a package that he physically had with him. Assuming the recipients of the parcel were not home, the Canada Post employee did not even knock on the door and simply left a note instead.
The delivery man walks up to the doorstep, but instead of knocking on the door, or ringing the doorbell, he simply leaves a delivery notice slip; assuming that the recipients of the package were simply not home.
To his surprise, the homeowner opens the door to find him leaving a slip for a package that he physically has with him!

The woman points out that he didn't even try knock on the door to see if they were home. The post man replies by saying that "usually no one is home."
If the woman had not come to the door in time, she would have been hit with a delivery notice slip, which would require her to do the leg work and go down to the post office for a pick up.
Basically as a result of Canada Post lazy delivery work, the customer would have to go out of their way to get a hold of their parcel.
The homeowners assert that this is not the first time an incident like this occurred with Canada Post, and now with a doorstep cam, they have concrete evidence of this happening regularly.
According to a report by Global News, Canada Post representatives have commented on the situation and agree that the customer should have received their package by the time the delivery man arrived at the address. The representatives also claim to have met with the employee and assure everybody that it won't happen again.
Can't be too sure about that...
