Lobster is a staple summer food in La Belle Province. The delicacy is fished all along Canada's East Coast and it can be enjoyed all season long.
One ephemereal restaurant centers around celebrating the crustacean in its many forms. Muvboxe's Homard des Îles is a pop-up that has become a perennial favourite in the Old Port.
The restaurant's mission? To celebrate lobter using a "simple menu" featuring traditional dishes like lobster rolls as well as more eccentric dishes like lobster pizza. The restaurant is set to open this year on May 25.

The restaurant currently has two locations open in the Old Port: one at the Jacques-Cartier pier and one a little further down on rue de la Commune.
This year will mark the restaurant's tenth year in the city, as it was inaugurated in the summer of 2009.
Muvbox recycles old containers and turns them into restaurants that are easy to set up and take down. The Homard des Îles is just one of their many ventures.
Their menu doesn't only feature lobster: they have other classic dishes like clam chowder and a "shrimp and crab roll" (yum!).
And, in traditional street-food style, the menu wouldn't be complete without pizza. They sell pepperoni and cheese, margherita, and lobster pizza.
The best part? The restaurant has a liquor license, so you can enjoy a nice glass of rosé or a pint of beer alongside your meal.
