I know I am not the only one that is completely obsessed with dim sum or with brunch so the fact that the two are being combined is making me really excited.
Every Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM, Jiao Dim Sum Bar hosts a special brunch and oh my god, everything looks amazing.
The vibe at Jiao is awesome. That, along with the beautiful ornamentation and delicious menu, should be enough to have you running to try it but if it’s not, allow me to elaborate.
Some of the fan favourites include a delicious dim sum with bacon and eggs inside and a decadent general Jiao chicken placed on a red velvet waffle. How good does that sound?
They have not only unique plates, but also a wide range of cocktails to go with your brunch, making it the perfect place to have Sunday fun day!
Most dishes on the well-cultivated dim sum menu range in price between ten and twenty dollars.
For those looking to splurge, there is also a $100 dumpling. Jiao collaborated with Remy Martin for this creation, which is infused with Louis XIII.
To make this place even cooler, on the weekends, there is a late night takeout window, something that no one else in the area is doing.
The restaurant opened last year and has quickly become one of the hottest spots in the Old Port.
If Jiao wasn’t on your radar before, it should be now. It is without a doubt one of Montreal’s coolest restaurants.
