Montreal's newest terrasse, Riva, stands out for its fantastic location. Located in the Old Port right on the water, this bar boasts a huge selection of proseccos, as well as champagnes, wines, cocktails and many more drinks options.
Their main attraction is their "bar on wheels," a vintage '60s Citröen truck that has been remodelled into a bar. The bar is already open, so you should check it out this weekend with friends!
Riva is inspired by the Italian Riviera, as the name would indicate. The huge terrasse, brought to you by the same designer who created the aesthetic Kampai Gardens and Jatoba, is inspired by Cannes.
The terrasse features comfy lounge chairs as well as picnic tables (with cushions, which is a huge plus). The terrasse has a number of areas where you can lounge in the shade and enjoy a refreshing drink.
The pop-up terrasse is brought to you by the entrepreneurs behind Muvbox, the company responsible for this fantastic lobster shack.
Aside from its fantastic drinks menu, the bar also offers a selection of dishes like fresh salads, pizzas, gelato and more.
This bar is going to be your new go-to place for happy hour, as it's open between 11:30 a.m. to midnight every day.
It's great for grabbing an Aperol Spritz after work, but it's also a wonderful place to stop for lunch or dinner.
We went to visit the bar and we were super impressed by the décor and the fun drinks on offer. It will be the perfect place to spend a warm summer afternoon in the Old Port this summer.
