Forever 21 Quebec liquidation sales could start as early as October 8th, 2019. Chapter 11 bankruptcy means 4 locations in Montreal will see massive sales starting this week until November 30th. Find the location nearest you below! Visit MTLBlog for more headlines. Just last week the announcement that Forever 21 liquidation sales in Quebec will soon preface the closing of all 44 stores across Canada due to a slowdown in brick-and-mortar sales. Some experts believe that the fast-fashion retailers’ "wounds are self-inflicted" as the company refused to adapt to consumer needs. But that's neither here nor there. What we really want to know about is when and where the massive liquidation sales are going to hit stores. And it looks like the answer to that question is, tomorrow. Forever 21 filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week and will appear in court today for a hearing to approve an agreement outlining the terms of the liquidation. Should it be approved, then the sales should be set to begin October 8. On a normal day shopping at Forever 21 can be a lesson in patience. This liquidation sale is already being met with so much anticipation that the crowds could be massive. Should everything go through with today's hearing, the liquidation sale is set to finish by November 30. But depending on inventory the closing date could wrap up early, or could possibly be extended. Either way, if you want to take advantage of the sales, it's probably best to show up as early as possible before everything is picked through. If you have any gift cards for the store, now's the time to use them. You will only be able to use your gift cards in-store until October 15. After that, they will only be accepted through the U.S. online store. No gift cards will be sold during the liquidation sale. when you walk into forever 21 with a 80% off everything sign pic.twitter.com/DV5iHP9O9n— layla🍯 (@laylaporter55) October 1, 2019 Forever 21 employees trying to keep the store clean during liquidation pic.twitter.com/HSkaaFapmN— Cari (@skippingdown16) October 1, 2019 It kind of goes without being said but all sales during the liquidation will be final.
