Artigiani Pizzeria Cucina4657 Rue Saint-Denis Montreal, QC H2J2L3While known for their authentic oven baked pizza, their pasta is equally as close to the real thing as you can get in this city. Their orecchiette al ragu di cinghiale (wild boar) is sinfully delicious. The boar sits lovingly in the small concaves of the orecchiette. Yes, that’s right lovingly. That’s what this place serves you: love.
La Cantina9090 Boulevard St-Laurent Montréal, QC H2N1M7Owner Domenico Fazioli has been serving up true Italian cuisine for years. So it’s not surprising that his pasta would be top notch. Definitely his linguine with clams will hit the spot.
Impasto48 Rue Dante Montreal, QC H2S1J6A warm and friendly atmosphere topped off with great pasta, now that’s a dining experience anyone can bite into. Impasto is the creation of two young Montrealers, Stefano Faita and Michele Forgione. If you weren’t able to hop on over to the boot this summer, these two can definitely serve some authentic cuisine your way. The menu is short — six starters, four pastas, four meat dishes, four desserts. Each one more delectable than the last, but definitely the pastas are a must try.
Bottega65 Rue St-Zotique E Montréal, QC H2S1K7Known for their crispy on the outside and fluffy, chewy inside pizza, this restaurant located in Little Italy should not be overlooked for their pasta! Solid gnocchi dish to try out.
Da Emma777 Rue De La Commune W Montréal, QC H3C1Y5Chef Emma Risa knows how to fill your stomach with love. This is where you can taste classic Italian dishes. Looking for a hearty lasagna? Look no further than here! But then again nothing beats a good tortellini or fettuccine dish, right?
Dolcetto & Co151 St Paul Ouest Montreal, QC H2Y1Z6Looking for a hip Italian wine bar? Look no further than this sweet spot. Located on St. Paul street in the Old Port, they might not have a ton of options, but the ones they do have are surely memorable. Seriously, who would pass up lobster and fennel cannelloni or homemade gnocchi with truffle cream? Uh, yum! Definitely becoming known for their pizzas, you’d seriously be missing out if you didn’t check out their pasta!
