Where: 1255 Jeanne Mance St
Why you should go: This terrasse is located up on top of the Hyatt Regency hotel and overlooks Montreal's prime festival hub Place Des Arts. It's the perfect place to take friends and family from out of town if they want to be in the center of the action but without being overrun by the crowd.

Why you should go: The rooftop patio of this central resto/club overlooks the bustling streets of downtown Montreal. It's a French restaurant in the evening and transforms into a club at night.
7. Bota Bota
Where: Coin De la Commune et McGill
Why you should go: Bota Bota is a spa but they also house a cafe that serves drinks and light dishes and boasts incredible views of the water and Old Port skyline. They have special during the weekday to enter, so it's a great way to treat yourself and someone special this summer.
6. Terrace Places D'armes
Where: 8e étage, 55 Rue Saint-Jacque
Why you should go: Known for their raspberry mojitos, Terrasse Place D'Armes is something of a classier lounge-terrasse atop the Hotel Place d’Armes. Overlooking Old Montreal, Terrasse Place D'Armes is open all day and until 3am, giving you the chance to drink from the sunny afternoon well into the night. And don't worry if you're worried about rain, because this seventh-floor terrasse has a retractable awning to shield you from the elements.

Why you should go: Riverside is a relatively new bar/club located at bit off the beaten path just south of St-Henri and on the edge of the Lachine Canal. Giving its outdoor patio gives some serious beautiful views of a side of Montreal you just don't see every day.

Where: 421 Rue Saint-Vincent
Why you should go: This is the stunning terrace of the luxury boutique hotel William Gray, tucked away on the cozy cobblestone streets of the Old Port. Just recently opened in Summer 2016 this stunning terrace is probably one of the sleekest and luxurious in all of Montreal. Perfect for a special summer date or occasion.
3. Terrasse Bonsecours
Where: 364 de la Commune St E
Why you should go: Terrasse Bonsecours is open seasonally in Marche Bonsecours in the Old Port of Montreal. This lively terrasse is open from noon to 3am every day of the week and boasts one of the most beautiful views of the Ferris Wheel and waterfront.

Where: 1 Place Ville Marie
Why you should go: Can't get much higher than this. PVM is one of the tallest building in Montreal. There is a restaurant and patio on the very tip top of it overlooking the city for one of the most stunning views of the Montreal skyline you will ever see.
