La Cornetteria's cronut

6528 Boulevard Saint-Laurent, Montréal, QC H2S
It might have been all the rage last summer, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still worth a recommendations. This half croissant, half doughnut, is dessert hybrid gold. Sweet, sweet custard is delicately piped in between the layers of flaky pastry goodness. Its soft interior is heavenly contrasted by the sugary and crunchy exterior. All this naturally comes together with the frying oil. MmMm gooood.

Vasco da Gama's natas

1472 Peel Rue, Montreal, QC H3A 1S8
There is nothing I love more than a crispy flaky pastry. Imagine yourself unwinding with a bowl-sized latte paired with a bite-sized treat whose buttery shell is filled with warm vanilla custard. You’ll feel transported to Lisboa as you bite into one. These traditional Portuguese tarts are utterly irresistible.

Au Pied de Cochon's poire pochée et glace vanille

536 Avenue Duluth Est, Montréal, QC H2L 1A9

If the rich opulent meal filled with foie gras isn’t enough, then you’ll definitely have room for one of their equally decadent desserts. While this one is probably one of their more subdued, it is no less tasty.

Kitchenette's sticky toffee pudding sundae with Cracker Jacks

1353 René-Levesque est Montréal, QC H2L2X1
The name alone should get you to want to go and have one. This will be mouthful after mouthful of a sinfully sweet dessert alone, with a date or with friends. The fact that it is so visually appealing adds to its flavor. The molasses and peanut coated popcorn overflowing from the top and spilling over onto the plate underneath, the mixture of crunchy, sticky and sweet all make for the perfect combination.

This may be the sweet tooth’s holy grail when it is paired with the delicious hazelnut spread, one of Italy’s greatest exports, Ferrero’s Nutella.
