Guys, it's finally time. Time for what, I hear you ask? Time to pull on those eating pants and prepare to go visit your favourite cabane à sucre.

Oh, but what's that? Quebec sugar shacks are quite a ways away? You love the tire a l'erable, but can't make the super long trek it takes to get yourself some sweet maple sugar? Well, friends, don't worry. I've got some great news for you. Your sugar shack dreams have become a reality; the folks at Lndmrk and Place Montreal Trust are hosting a cabane à sucre-themed event, right here in Montreal.

Cabanasuc is taking place on April 7, 2016, at Place Montreal Trust (1500 Avenue McGill College). The event is described as an "urban sugar shack experience", which pretty much means that you're in for an awesome time.

Upping the awesome factor is the fact that the event will feature chefs Chuck Hughes and Danny Smiles, and artist Whatisadam. Food will be provided by Crown Salts, the team behind Le Bremner and Garde Manger, and the event will showcase art by Montreal street artist Whatisadam.

Sound like a great time? Good. Because that's exactly what it's going to be. For more information, check out Cabanasuc's Facebook event, or check out their Eventbrite page for tickets.
