Montreal has been gifted with some of the most amazing festivals this Summer. We've been spending every week of the sunny season indulging in festival eats, dancing, celebrations of culture and so much more. If only these cultural festivals could last all year round to grace us with the best partying and good times the city has to offer.

Luckily, there are a few more festivals in store to give us something to look forward to as the end of Summer quickly approaches. A Latin American Food Festival is on it's way to the city in a few weeks, but us festival-goers need an event now!

Thankfully, the First Peoples Festival begins in Montreal tomorrow.

The event runs from August 7 to 15 at the Quartier des Spectacles de Montréal  and celebrates the Indigenous cultures that come from across the three Americas. Not only will you be able to enjoy concerts filled with traditonal and modern music, indulge in independant films created by members of the Indigenous community, and win some incredible festival prizes, but you'll also have the opportunity to learn more about Indigenous history and the importance of First People in Quebec.

As if it couldn't get any better, the week long festival hosts one of the best parades in Montreal and of course, what you've all been waiting for... FOOD! Traditional Indigenous meals as well as some incredible street eats will be available at the festival. You seriously won't want to miss out on these mouth-watering goodies. A lot of the events being held during the festival are completely free, so you have no reason not to enjoy an amazing festival this city gets to host.

This is an event you definitely don't want to miss out on if you love unique food, exploring cultures, non-stop music and incredible memories! The festival only comes around once a year and this one will be the best yet.
