Montreal Opens All-New "Brew Pub" Bar On Saint-Laurent Street
Because beer is always weather appropriate.
If you know one thing about me, you know that Little Italy is my home away from home. I'm there way too often for someone who doesn't live in the area, and, no lie, I could straight up get to my favourite Little Italy cafe with both eyes shut from any point in the city. Impressive, I know.
Another thing you should know about me? I have an obsession with brewpubs. So imagine my complete delight when I realized that two of my lifelong loves formed to create Birra.
Having opened up less than a month ago, Birra (7129 Boul St-Laurent) is a brand new beer pub located right near the Jean-Talon Market, on St. Laurent street. This new spot features 17 different types of beer on tap (including one that's gluten free), all locally made, right here in Quebec.
Of course, never fear if beer isn't your thing. Birra might be the Italian word for beer, but this brewpub offers much more than just the popular malty drink. Their alcohol menu also features whiskey, wine, and cocktails, so no matter what you're in the mood for, you're bound to have a good time.
And, of course, Birra boasta a menu full of awesome food. We're talking grilled cheese, nachos, pork meatballs, a charcuterie platter, and much, much more. Sounds good? Of course it does. Don't forget to check out their Facebook page for more information.
