Fabergé Where: 25 Rue Fairmount Ouest View this post on Instagram Thank you @mtlfoodgasms for this amazing review! Hope we’ll see you again soon 🥳 - Chicken and Waffles / Boneless Fried Chicken, Homemade BBQ Sauce, Home Fries, Jalapenos Coleslaw . I have some people come up to me and say, fried chicken and waffles, that sounds fucking gross. There is no way that's good. And to those people I will always say, you have no idea wtf your talking about 🤣👍. . Tired out @faberge514 not to long ago with my gf and our experience across the board was great. The style of resto is amazing, really lovely vibe and staff that really knows what they are selling. . I've said it before and I'll say it again for breakfast, u need to wow me! I don't do basic breakfast like eggs, bacon and toast. I can do that for myself lol. But when I do decide to spend money on breakfast food, stuff like here at Fabergé is a bloody treat. . We got the fried Mac and Cheese Eggs Benny with pulled pork which was really good. But we both agreed our favourite was the Chicken and Waffles. . Amazing waffle, had a nice bite to it, not crazy fluffy but that's ok I don't care that much about that, more so the taste which was spot on. The dredge and batter in which they put the fried chicken in was great, alone it was delicious and flavour packed. I'm surprised on how golden crispy it was, while still being juicy and tender on the inside. Went really well with there homemade bbq sauce and slaw. Even the potatoes were great, so crispy on the outside, but really surprising on how light and fluffy and soft on the inside they were! . Great spot for sure and I cannot wait to go back next week and try some more of the menu. Apparently they have a poutine that they say will put me into a coma... Challenge excepted! Haha 😎👍 . One thing I will say is I wish I didn't get charged for maple syrup... With this dish I feel it should kinda come with it tbh! . #friedchicken #chickenandwaffles #waffles #breakfast #brunch #homemade #quality #mtlfoodgasms #food #foodies #foodgasm #foodporn #foodstagram #foodblogger #instafood #instafoodie #mtl #mtlblogger #mtlblog #montreal #montrealcity #mtlfood #mtlfoodie #hotspot #eeeeeats #myfooddiary #yummy #greateats #greatvibes #tastemontreal A post shared by Fabergé (@faberge514) on Dec 5, 2019 at 6:39am PST This eatery gives off a comfortable lounge vibe that instantly makes you feel right at home.
