• Remember the beautiful days of summer when you could spend all day drinking on a terrasse? Well, they're not over! MTL Blog has made a list of heated terrasses around Montreal that keep summer going all year long.

It's awful out. Montreal has cancelled Halloween, BC is renegotiating daylight savings time, Toronto is doing whatever Toronto does; Canada is in upheaval. When the world is this crazy and raining and there are snow and wind warnings, the only option is to stay inside where it's dry and warm. If you can add a taste of summer and a drink (alcoholic or not), all the better.

Montreal is known for its seasonal summer terrasses that pop up and seem to close down faster than we can say sangria. But some restaurants and bars know how to keep that summery glow all year round with gorgeous indoor or heated terrasses that make you forget what the actual weather is like outside in the real world.

A few notable autumn spots had to close early this year due to the weather, we're sorry we missed you William Gray, but you can still find a few restaurant solariums and indoor gardens spots scattered throughout the city.

From retractable roofs and skylights to heated secret outdoor spots, these seven Montreal terrasses will make it feel like summer again. At least for a few hours.
