1. Tripes and Caviar
3725 Wellington street
Ever had your mind blown by food? Don't answer that if you've never been to Tripes and Caviar. The food here is unique and delicious, and the atmosphere can only be described as "super fun". Any place that has Wagyu beef tongue tacos is a place that you need to go to. Like, ASAP. Seriously. Drop everything.
Probably the quintessential English pub in Verdun, Balconville boasts delicious pub food, legit drinks, and an awesome and friendly atmosphere. You'll come for the 5@7, but you'll stay for the delicious hamburgers. Protip: try their Bloody Caesar and try not to fall in love.
3. Ma Douce Moitié
Ever have a hard time deciding whether you want salty or sweet? Well, don't worry. Ma Douce Moitié has your back. The majority of their dishes combine salty and sweet in some way. But all of their dishes are delicious in every way.

4. Blackstrap BBQ
4436 Rue Wellington
Blackstrap BBQ is probably one of the most famous places to come and eat in Verdun, and there's a very good reason for that. Try their ribs and you'll come out of there a changed person, my friends. Just try not to fall in love with ribs. Unless you want to. No judgement.
3807 Rue Wellington
Want to impress your friends? Take them to JoBlo. With a quirky and vintage-esque atmosphere, there is literally no way anyone can react to this place with anything less than awe. Wait, is there such a thing as "super awe"? Because that's what they'll be feeling once they try one of these delicious dishes. S/O to "The Judy Garland" for being one of the tastiest things I've tried so far.
4026 Rue Wellington
Two words: taco Tuesday. One more word: toonie. That's right. Not only is Benelux one of the most awesome places to get your drink on in Verdun (unpretentious atmosphere, awesome terrasse, and wide array of alcohol, anyone?) but they also offer terrific 5@7 specials. Such as our good friend, $2 Taco Tuesdays.
7. Le Baobab
Okay, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, "these places are awesome, but where oh where can I get myself some on point coffee and ice cream?" Well, friends, look no further. Step right into Le Baobab. With a chill and colourful atmosphere, fresh coffee, awesome lunch fare, and delicious A.F. ice cream, you really can do no wrong. Awesome? Awesome.
8. Restaurant Wellington
3629 Rue Wellington
Wellington is literally the perfect Verdun restaurant to indulge yourself. With an upscale yet friendly atmosphere and fresh and delicious food, you really can't go wrong. The best part? It's BYOB. So you can supplement that wine budget for extra food.

9. Le Tire Bouchon Bistro Gourmand
5200 Rue Wellington
Le Tire Bouchon is pretty much the most awesome French bistro Verdun has to offer. Seriously, going there for brunch is an experience of deliciousness like you have never known. S/O to their Brie crepe for changing my perspective on crepes forever. Also S/O to them for including a mimosa in their $25 "Forfeit Brunch". Brunch just isn't brunch without boozy orange juice.
5001 Notre Dame Ouest
Okay, you got me. Loïc is technically not in Verdun. It is in the Sud-Ouest, though, so technically it's close enough to qualify. Plus it's too awesome not to mention. Go there for their extensive and unique drink list (they make a cocktail with tequila and grapefruit. Run to it), but stay for their awesome food. Winning on all levels, my friends. Winning on all levels.
