What's better than a single pastry? Two pastries, combined. That seems to be the baking mantra of Cronut creator Dominique Ansel who has deliciousley fused two classic sweets together into an entirely delectable new form. Ansel's newest creation is called "The Magic Soufflé," a treat which looks like it was truly made by magical means.\nA seemingly simple brioche on the outside, the Magic Souffle has a hidden surprise inside. Within the brioche exterior is a chocolate soufflé interior, a light and airy inside to texturally compliment the dense outside. Integrating more delicious flavour, Ansel added a hint of Grand Marnier to the chocoalte soufflé and notes of orange blossom to the brioche. Is your mouth salivating yet? Mine is. Don't judge.\nFor the time being the Magic Soufflé is only available at the Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York and priced at $7.
