Photo cred - @EpicMook\nThere aren't many poutine customizations out there that don't simply involve adding an extra ingredient. Not exactly what you would call a revolution. Oh, you added bacon AND chicken to your poutine? I'm sorry I take it back, you're a creative genius! How did you come up with that? It takes a great mind to customize a poutine in a truly original way, and that mind belongs to Josh Elkin who you may know as @EpicMook from Epic Meal Time.\nJosh has completely reinvented the poutine while somehow conserving all the original ingredients, and without anything anything new. Now that is a the mark of a true food porn master. It's called the Tornado Poutine and simply put, it's spectacular.\nAnd for your gluttonous benefit, @EpicMook was kind enough to share his unique recipe with us so you too can make your very own Tornado Poutine at home.\nHere's what you need:\nA Deep Fryer\tA Metal Spoon\t1 large russet potato\t1 cup of Quebec cheese curds\t1 cup of brown gravy of your choice\tDeep frying oil\nStep 1:\nSlice the top and bottom end of the potato. Make sure it's as even as possible so the potato can stand upright on its own.\nStep 2:\nStart to scoop out a hole in the center of the smaller end of the potato. Continue to dig with the spoon in a circular motion until you are about 1/2 an inch from the other end of the potato (the bottom)\nStep 3:\nUsing a paring knife, trace a spiral on the outside of the potato. Cut out the spiral exposing the flesh of the potato. At this point you can see the shape of the tornado coming together.\nStep 4:\nCut through the potato on two sides of the spiral. You want to cut into the hole you made earlier making sure not to cut too far on either side of the spiral in order to avoid the whole thing collapsing.\nStep 5:\nHeat your cooking oil to 300 degrees F. Fry the potato for about 4 minutes. Take it out and increase the heat to 400 degrees F. Fry the potato again for 3 minutes.\nStep 6:\nFill the hole of the Potato with the cheese curds, then with the gravy until it all starts pouring out the sides of the tornado.\nStep 7\nIndulge.\nMore more check out @EpicMook on Twitter & Instagram.
