Photo cred - BarBrutus\nBar Brutus, the little bar in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie is known for its baconey creations (Is baconey a word? who cares, we're making it a word). You may remember them from such posts as the Bacon Pulled Pork Breakfast Poutine and The Bacon Bowl Poutine. Well now they've turned they attention to Shepherd's Pie. It may look like an ordinary Shepherd's Pie, or as we call it: Pâté Chinois, but this dish has a little secret that makes it worthy of the name Party Chinois.\nThe classic dish in basically just a ground layer of ground beef topped with a layer of corn and a layer of mashed potatoes, but this version has replaced the ground beef with - wait for it ... Bacon!\nThat's right, the entire bottom layer is made of bacon, delicious, fresh, smokey, ground bacon. So if you thought that this staple of Quebec comfort food couldn't get any better, you were wrong. Very, very wrong.\nYou're getting a exclusive sneak peek at the dish which will only be sold starting tomorrow (Thursday March 19th) at Bar-Brutus so you can be amongst the first lucky few to taste this crazy creation.
