TL;DR Disney has officially announced the brand new "Magical Pride" event at Disnetland Paris on June 1, 2019. Twitter reactions and information about the LGBTQ event is below.

Disneyland Paris will be the first of the Disney chain to host the event, which will take place on June 1, 2019 (the first official day of Pride month).

The event, which Disney calls "Magical Pride," will leave the entire park decorated in all the vibrant colours of the rainbow. Although Pride events have been held at the park before, they were all unofficial and never actually affiliated with Disney. That all changes this year, as "Magical Pride" is hosted by official Disney organizers.

Needless to say, Twitter is freaking out. A LOT. Although the consensus seems evenly split on supporting and protesting the new event, the comebacks to those who are anti-Disney Pride are just too good not to share:

For the most part, Disney fans are pretty excited for the upcoming official event, to say the least:

Even Disney has taken to Twitter to celebrate the upcoming event and give more details.

Not to mention that Twitter is going crazy trying to get their very own Disney Pride Mickey ears:

Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming "Magical Pride" event at Disneyland Paris.
