As you may know, MTL Blog has been on the lookout for any news about the filming of the Home Alone reboot in Montreal. And today we found out just a little more about the film's potential plot. Find out more below! Visit MTLBlog for more headlines. Unless you have been in hiding over the past few months, you probably know by now that the filming for Disney+ Home Alone reboot is in Montreal. Home Alone is considered a cinematic classic and I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that the original film was a big part of my childhood. I've been on a bit of a mission to share with you, dear readers, as much information about the reboot as I can. And once again, I have a little scoop for you. Ellie Kemper, who is one of the stars of the film, has been fairly secretive when it comes to this project but she has gone to Instagram to give us little information regarding the much-anticipated project. Ellie Kemper went to her social media again yesterday and posted a series of photos with the caption "these two men had the totally unenviable task of making a mould of my feet this morning. Now we are bonded for life. Thank you, Bruno and Max! (PS I promise this was for work.)" The first picture shows the actress in the middle of two Québécois looking fellas. As you continue scrolling through the post you can see that these men created something quite interesting and I had to do some snooping, but I was able to confirm that it was in fact for the Home Alone reboot. Kemper responded to a comment on the photo and stated that "it was for Untitled Home Alone movie." She also added that "the mold was for special effects." We already know that the plot is going to be very different from the original movie, but I'm secretly praying that the mischief of Kevin McAllister will rub off on Archie Yates's character Max. The Disney+ reboot will not only have a different plot than the original but it will also be released under a new name. The reboot will follow a married couple who will try and fend off a mischievous child who is not left home alone. Elliekemper| Instagram I'm usually not the biggest fan of reboots but something tells me that this one is going to be good. And, best of all, we will be able to spot some of our city's glory through the lens of the film, which is really cool. If you have spotted any of the Home Alone reboot cast throughout our city, let us know! Until then, I promise you will be the first to know about my discoveries.
