Montreal Has A Tuition-Free Photography Program You Can Now Take

More and more, mainstream media is recognizing the importance of quality photography, meaning that photographers are now in demand across all kinds of industries. So maybe you have a real passion for taking pictures and would love to make a career out of it, but you either don't think you have what it takes, or you don't know where to start.

If you're considering taking your skills to the next level, and possibly changing your career path, there's actually a program being offered in Montreal that gives you the tools you need to succeed. Best part is - it runs in the evenings, so you don't even have to quit your day job!
AEC Commercial Photography is a tuition-free program offered by Dawson College that gives any aspiring photographer a full-time, two-year, professional education. It not only teaches you how to take amazing photos, but will also show you how to make an actual living from it.
It covers the entire spectrum, from advertising, fashion and design, to portraiture, editorial, food photography and architecture. You're even working with today's industry standards designed specifically for media output, making it ideally geared towards entrepreneurship.
Since 1980, this program has produced some amazing photographers who've gone on to build successful careers out of their passion. Most of the teachers are working professionals themselves, which means they've got the inside scoop on the real-world technical, visual, and business skills you need to excel.

To apply for the free program, you do have to meet certain guidelines, but if you want to find out more, head down to Dawson for one of the information sessions being held on September 28 and October 6 in room 4C.1 at 6:00pm. Otherwise, start polishing off your portfolio for the November 4th application deadline!
