Montreal Is Hosting Canada's Largest "Extreme Sports" Festival At The Olympic Stadium
Three full days of non-stop action.
Just when you think there couldn't possibly be any more festivals crammed into our way-too-short summer, BAM! JACKALOPE comes at you, pokes you in the face with its unholy antlers, and shows us there is still plenty of mind-blowing fun and excitement to be had in Montreal. Seriously, I don't think you're ready for this jelly.
Get ready kids, because the one-and-only JACKALOPE festival, made right here in Montreal and designed especially for all you adrenaline junkies out there, is back for its 5th edition August 19-21!
Everything from World Cup skateboarding, freestyle motocross, fixed-gear racing, slacklining, and even a mental base jump off the Olympic Tower!
This 3-day, action-packed festival has been steadily growing in girth over the last few years, and the 2016 instalment promises to be even bigger and better than ever! With over 200 athletes, 7 different extreme sports, and some 20,000 festival goers expected to take over Montreal’s Olympic Park, this is the largest event of its kind in Canada.
Among all the absolute insanity you'll get to see over the weekend, there will also be plenty of delicious munchies to be eaten courtesy of some top MTL food trucks (Aux Vivres, Dasfoodtruck, Dic Ann's, Mi Corazon Food Truck, Les Affamés), a variety of stylish popup shops to keep you looking so fresh and so clean, all capped off with huge live performances by High Klassified, The Posterz and more.
JACKALOPE will also be the location for our Saturday, August 20! The Narcity/MTL Blog team will be on-site to get you, um... wet, so make sure to come say hi!. That's right, we've been talking about it for over a year now, and it's finally happening on
Rain or shine, JACKALOPE is without a doubt where all the action will be this weekend.
