Old Montreal Now Has A "Christmas Market" For The Holidays
The most magical merry spot in the city!
It's that time of the year again, folks, when twinkling lights and festive decorations take over the streets in preparation for Christmas! And while Montreal generally does a great job of creating a pretty special place all over town, everyone knows there's nothing quite like the charm of Old Montreal to truly bring the holiday spirit to life.
Every weekend until December 20, as part of the 3rd edition of Merry Montreal, the charming Place Jacques-Cartier is being transformed into a giant Christmas Market, inviting all of us to share in some good old fashion holiday magic.
Find everything from local products, unique hand-crafted items, Xmas trees and decorations, and of course, the big guy himself - Santa Claus! This is the ideal place to pick up some delicious treats and original gifts for all your friends and family.
So before the cold and snow really set in, make sure to enjoy a stroll down the historic Jacques-Cartier square to take in the very festive atmosphere of one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Quebec!
The Christmas Market happens Thursday and Friday evenings starting at 4pm, and weekends from noon until 6pm.
