The idea of a "Bucket List" has been a way for people to track down a certain amount of things they wish to accomplish before they die.\nWe tend to get carried away with every day life and responsibilities and forget to LIVE. As William Wallace once said, every man dies, but not every man really lives.\nI started my BL about 4 years ago now, and I'm glad to say I've seen the checkmarks go up. While some use this list to refer to places they want to travel to, goals they wish to accomplish or even celebrities they want to meet, I have found that the most rewarding checkmarks to put are the ones next to these:\n1. Watching the Northern lights\nThe Aurora Borealis. You can check it out at one of these locations.\n[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wM9M3EN2SlE[/embed]\n2. Climbing the "Heavenly Stairs" of Huan Chan Mountain in China\nIt might actually take you to heaven... Mount Huashan Plank Trail, in China is recognized as THE most dangerous mountain in the world. If you can make it out alive, you'll be able to enjoy a breathtaking view and some Chinese tea!\n3. Going for a camel ride in Morocco\nEspecially during the sunrise! It is the most beautiful and peaceful scenery.\n4. Snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia\nBefore it's too late! Rumour has it that the water is rising and in the next 40 years, it won't exist anymore.\nphoto cred - Rebecca Perez\n5. Flying on a private plane with a pilot\nI did this a couple years ago with a friend who was a pilot. One of the coolest experiences because you really get to see what happens "behind the scenes" or more precisely at the front of the plane in the cockpit. If you're lucky enough, the pilot might even let you drive!\n6. Sky Diving over The Palm Jumeirah in Dubai\nHey guys look! It's me. Just kidding. BUT I have gone sky diving before and I have to say, that was the beginning of my adrenaline junkie days. Being 10,000 feet above ground, is exhilarating but it's also alarming - you really feel like you're alive.\n7. Swimming with sharks in Tahiti\nEspecially if you are scared shitless of sharks, just like I am. It's time to face your fears, and Tahiti has a variety of white sharks ready for you.\n8. Watching the seregenti migration in Tanzania\nThe wildebeest migration, over two million animals migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the greener pastures of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya during July through to October. The most beautiful thing you'll ever see.\n9. Witnessing a Solar or Lunar Eclipse\nThey happen every four years, depending on your location. You can check out where the next one will be over here. There's actually one happening on March 8-9 of this year! You might be able to catch it\nphoto cred - Joel Allen\n10. Living in a tree house in Whistler, Canada\nThere's nothing like living in the wilderness. Imagine camping but with being able to shower and in a comfortable bed instead of a sleeping bag. Joel Allen did it, and you can too.\nAnd with that I leave you with a quote from Mark Twain,\n“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”\nEnjoy your adventure.
