11 Things You Need To Know About Donald Trump’s Daughter
Ivanka Trump, America's 'true' First Lady!
Have you been keeping up with Donald Trump President-elect of the United States, and his campaign trail?
Then chances are very good that you know about his eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump.
She's been a constant presence during her father's campaign, but if you've ever wondered exactly what she's all about, then no worries. I've got your back.
Ivanka is an accomplished AF businesswoman.
She graduated from the Wharton School of Business, which also happens to be her father's alma mater. She's putting her degree to good use, too, being a major player in her family's organization and being involved in several other ventures.
Even if she got her start in the modelling world.
It's true that she started off modelling, appearing on the cover of magazines like Seventeen and walking the runway for brands like Thierry Mugler. But she figured out that modelling wasn't for her, and pursued a career in business.
She tried separating herself from the Trump name.
When she first graduated, she worked entry-level jobs at business firms to really differentiate herself from her parents. She was even quoted as saying that she didn't want to live in her parents' shadow. But eventually, she learned to embrace and be proud of her family name and influence. Own it, girl.
She's friends with Chelsea Clinton.
The two were introduced by their husbands, and hung out in the same circles. They got along super well - and probably even still do - but for the sake of their parents' election, they agreed not to be seen in public together.
Ivanka converted to Judaism before marrying her husband, Jared.
They met in 2007 on a business lunch, and the rest was history. They got married in 2009.
And together they've got three kids.
Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore, all under the age of 10.
Her mother is Donald's first wife, Ivana.
And she has two brothers, Donald Jr. and Eric, along with a half-brother, Barron, and a half-sister, Tiffany.
She's actually a huge supporter of women.
Other than being quoted as saying, "My advocacy of women, trying to empower them in every aspect of their lives, started long before the presidential campaign did. I've never politicized that message," Ivanka also runs the #WomenWhoWork movement. There's a lifestyle website and book coming out about it very soon, too.
And happens to successfully run her own brand.
I don't even need to tell you that the Ivanka Trump brand of jewellery, handbags, clothes and accessories has become a household name, do I?
In addition to being a key player in the Trump organization, of course.
Ivanka is an executive Vice President at the Trump Organization. Yassss, girl. Yasss.
