Friends, as we all know, Donald Trump is officially the President-elect of the United States. Which means his wife, Melania Trump, will very soon become the First Lady of the United States, a role currently filled by all-around queen and amazing human being, Michelle Obama.

Personally, I don't believe in judging someone based on who they're associated with. Melania Trump is her own person, with her own merits.

And although we've heard a whole lot about Donald Trump during this election, we might not know as much about Melania. And if you're curious to know who will be taking over the role of FLOTUS very soon, then don't worry -I've got you covered.

Melania has focused on making anti-bullying her crusade.

Specifically, cyber bullying. In a rare speech, Melania was quoted as saying that "we have to find a better way to talk to each other" online, stating that we've all gotten a little bit too mean.

Although her speech kind of goes against some of what we've seen to be her husband's rhetoric, there is absolutely no way I can disagree with the point Melania brought up, TBH.

She's independent AF, and not afraid to let her husband know when she disagrees with him.

Sure, Melania understands when Donald says some things he shouldn't, and doesn't always go along with him 100% of the time. But, according to her, that's how they are. They both let each other be their own people, and although she voices her opinions, she lets Donald do him.

Melania is going to be the first foreign-born FLOTUS in nearly 200 years.

Melania grew up under communist rule in Yugoslavia, making her the first ever FLOTUS to have grown up in a communist regime, too. She eventually got into modelling, and made her way to the U.S. for work.

But that doesn't mean she's going to be accepting of any and all immigrants.

Her policy on immigration echoes her husband's. According to Melania, both she and Donald Trump are very accepting of immigrants - as long as they come in to the United States legally. Melania has even been quoted as saying: "I obeyed the law. I did it the right way. I didn't just sneak in and stay here. So I think that's what people should do."

It seems like her number one priority is her son, Barron.

The reason why we didn't see her as much during the campaign trail might be because she was dedicating most of her time to Barron; according to Melania, a huge priority of hers during the trail was to make sure she was being a parent to her child.

Melania's career as a model might be to thank for her position as FLOTUS.

Melania became a model at 16, and travelled to the U.S. for work - where she met Donald Trump. On that note, Melania also just so happens to have been on the covers of Vogue, InStyle, New York Magazine, and more.

But it's not all about the beauty.

Other than being a model, and wanting to help get rid of cyber-bullying, Melania's got some charity work under her belt, too. She's been involved with the American Red Cross, the Boys Club of New York, Love Our Children USA, and other organizations, too.

You want languages? Oh, she's got languages.

Melania speaks English, French, German, Slovenian, and Serbian. That's 5 languages, guys. (Meanwhile, I can't even remember my days of the week in the 3 languages I pretend to know.)

She's Donald Trump's third wife.

He was married to Ivana Trump and Marla Maples before taking the plunge with Melania; Bill and Hillary Clinton were reportedly guests at the wedding.

Before achieving FLOTUS status, she dabbled in the beauty industry.

Melania spearheaded a skincare line in 2013, Melania™ Caviar Complexe C6, which I think just goes to show she's not afraid to let her entrepreneurial spirit shine.

And she'll be the very first FLOTUS to be featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Get it, girl.
