This weekend, La Tablée des Chefs and Valrhona Chocolate are coming together to put on “La Grande Tournée du Chocolate Chaud”, a hot chocolate tour taking place throughout Montreal. On the 17th and 18th, 22 different hot chocolate recipes will be sold over 48 different distribution locations, including Juliette et Chocolate, La Tablet de Miss Choco and Maison Boulud.
Each drink is made with a Valrhona chocolate base, and they’re being sold for just $3 a cup, so if you’re looking to get chocolate wasted this weekend, this is your opportunity.
The bonus is that you don’t even need to feel guilty while doing it: for every hot chocolate sold, $0.50 will be donated to La Tablée des Chefs’ charity work, feeding in-need families in Quebec and promoting healthy eating education in youths.
But feeling good about yourself isn’t the only thing you could get out of this weekend, because by uploading a photo of one of their hot chocolates to any social media and using the hashtag “#lgtchocolatchaud”, you will be automatically entered to win a workshop with Patrice Demers, the renowned Montreal pastry chef.
Head over to La Grande Tournée’s Facebook page for a full list of locations, and follow #lgtchocolatchaud on Twitter.
