Some of you might remember that Hooters announced the opening of its Montreal restaurant way back in the summer of 2016.\nREAD ALSO: Montreal Opening First-Ever Hooters Downtown\nIf you didn't know, well, let me recap it for you: Hooters is planning to set up shop right on Montreal's Crescent Street.\nvia @duccnguyen\nThe announcement was made way back in June, and construction appears to be almost done at this point in time.\nNo official opening date has been set just yet, though, but according to the RestoMontreal listing, it's set to open up in January 2017 (that's this month, for those of us still in a post-holiday haze).\nOf course, delays might happen... but I think it's pretty safe to assume that within the next couple of months, there will be a Hooters in the city of Montreal.\nIt'll be the very first Hooters in the city, but not in the Greater Montreal area.\nThe first Hooters in the province was actually opened in Greenfield Park about a decade or so ago.\nIt's still open, and it's about a 20 minute drive from downtown Montreal. But this new Crescent location is definitely a whole lot more convenient for anyone who lives on-island, obviously.\nIf you've ever been to the Hooters in Greenfield Park, then you probably have a pretty good idea of what the one on Crescent Street will be like.\nThe Crescent Street location will pretty much feature the hallmark of Hooters restaurants: beer, sports, Hooters girls, and Monday all you can eat chicken wing specials. Plus poutines. Because it's Montreal.\nSo, Montrealers who also happen to love Hooters, worry not. Very soon, there'll be a restaurant right here in the city where you can get your wings, beer, and Hooters fix.\nvia @djxhurricane\nFor more information and website, check out the Hooters Montreal website.\nAdd mtlblog on Snapchat.
