Here we have an emotional and powerful set of photos by Irish artist Emer Gillespie and her daughter Laoisha who was born with Downs Syndrome.

The end game on this photo essay entitled "Picture You, Picture Me" was and is to document the relationship she has with her daughter as she grows up in a world that does not understand her.

They shot together almost every day in which they exchanged roles at times where Laoisha would be the photographer more and more as she grew older.

Take a look at the pictures below, you'll notice how a mother/daughter bond is one of the strongest on the planet.
