Let the drinking games begin!

Bust out the paddles because at Montreal's newest bar, you're going to need 'em. No, not for that , you kinky fiend, you'll need a paddle for playing some table tennis, as the Ping Pong Club resto/bar will open its doors and be setting up ping pong tables for the first time tomorrow.
What was once the Royal Phoenix is now the Ping Pong Club, right at the corner of St. Laurent and Bernard. Expect the decor to be much different than the locations previous incarnation, with PPC (which I now decree the spot will be abbreviated as) sporting long wooden table-benches, sleek white booths, and a couple of ping pong tables strewn about, of course.
Food will be a focus at the PPC, with the menu catering to light and heavy eaters alike. Snack-minded folks can mack on mac 'n cheese balls, the chef's special alphabet soup, and deviled eggs, while the hungry can order hot chicken poutine, vegetarian lasagna, and fried chicken steam buns. Eater reports the menu will be changed as time goes on, with brunch plans also in the works.
As with any bar, beer and cocktails will be aplenty at PPC, with the added allure of alcoholic smoothies and milkshakes too. You can enjoy 'dem drinks during any Habs game or Sunday football match, as PPC will also be fully equipped with two TV projectors to give you a big screen vantage point for any game going on.
To commemorate the official opening of the Ping Pong Club, Montreal's newest bar is holding a grand opening celebration tomorrow night, from 7pm to 3am. DJs will be spinning, food will be served, and ping pong will be played at PPC's inaugural party, which all are invited to. Get all the details at the Facebook event.
