Montreal's Apt. 200 On Saint-Laurent Street To Host Barber Pop-Up Shop This August
Take a seat, get a cut, have a drink, then party.
Barber shops have become increasingly linked to nightlife in Montreal over the last few years, and the trend is only getting stronger. Barber-culture and going out will become even more entwined on August 17th, with the launch of We The Barbers Popup-shop event at Apt. 200.
We The Barbers is the blog/community group branch of the male grooming products retailer This Bear, That Forest, who regularly feature local Montreal barbers. Today, via Twitter, the group announced their plans for the Apt 200-barbershop event:

We reached out to the organizers who let us know some more details:
The event will be a 5-à-7 on Sunday, August 17th with on-site haircuts (hair & beard), photographers, and plenty of liquor. DJs will be spinning to liven the atmosphere, as will some brands showing their swag (Jane & Rye, Groom, and Bon Villain) which will all combine to create a modern prohibition-style theme.
A 'Live Cut' will be the main event, where special-guest barbers Dave and Borey of Les Merchands De Fraicheur will be cutting the hair of two other barbers previously featured on We The Barbers Montreal Simon Chercuitte (Frank & Oak) & Pete Goupil (American Crew).
An event like no other, don't miss the chance to support and experience Montreal's ever-growing barber culture.
