Montreal's Mont-Royal Has Installed 20 "Maple Syrup" Themed Garbage Cans
MTL street artist sweetens up the city.

Garbage cans aren't exactly the prettiest of urban fixtures, and never inspire any warm and fuzzies. To beautify the city's trash depositories, and to give them a very Quebecois new look, Montreal street artist Whatisadam transformed plain ol' garbages into maple syrup cans.
You might have seen these new cans at Tams this past Sunday, as Whatisadam performed an overnight "WIA Maple Sizzurp take-over," transforming 20 Mont-Royal Park garbage drums into the classic WIA Maple can. Kudos to Nightlife.ca for pointing out this amazing art project to us.
Montreal city workers don't seem to mind the new maple-y garbage cans either. Whatisadam feared the city removed his sizzurp-garbages, only to realize they simply moved them all around the park during the regular rotation of garbages. That was only 3 days ago, so hopefully you can still see 'em there now.
