You can tell that something is disruptive and stands-out from the norm when you have a hard time explaining exactly what it is. In other words, there really isn't one label to describe Village Au Pied Du Courant.

It's a collection of things. Is it a community space? Yes. Is it an event space? that, too. Are there food trucks? Yes, obviously.

At its core, this is a public outdoor space, similar to a public park, but instead of being built and run by the city, it's run by a collective of people that want Montrealers to have a unique place like this to congregate and enjoy summer. And with the support of the City Of Montreal, of course.

Entry to this stunning water-front multi-disciplinary space is totally free and open to the anyone. Best part, they host an ongoing stream of events all summer long. Like "Mexican Market" day on Sunday afternoon.

That said, on Friday, June 1st, Village Au Pied-Du-Courant is holding it's 5th official season launch party!
