To pay homage to the legendary Jean Béliveau, who passed away at the age of 83 on Tuesday, Montreal's Olympic Stadium has adorned tower with the colour of the Canadiens. Red, white, and blue illuminated the Olympic tower last night, a monument to Béliveau's life and memory.

Any Montrealer wishing to pay their respects to Béliveau can do so at the Bell Centre, where a bronze statue now stands at the arena's main entrance. On Sunday and Monday, Béliveau's body will lie within the Bell Centre Chapel, with the public invited to visit any time between 10am and 6pm. The funeral will be held on Wednesday from 10am to 2pm at the Mary Queen of the World Cathedral.

Béliveau touched the lives of many during his career as a Canadien, and long after. You can share your own personal memories and add to Béliveau's ongoing memory signing the Tribute Page on the Canadiens website. All are invited to sign while also leaving a written message to serve as an online memorial to Beliveau.

Citizens who wish to make a donation in honour of Béliveau's memory can do so by making a contribution to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation. More details on can be found on the Montreal Canadiens website here.
