When we're talking weather, the word "best" is ambiguous. In other words, there are a lot of different answers to what is considered the "perfect" climate to live in, subjectively.

Even though I'll never understand it myself, I do realize that some people love cold weather and snowy winters. However, at least for the purposes of this article and list, the "weather-wise best" cities in Canada will mean the cities with the HIGHEST daily average temperatures every winter.

In other words, cities with the mildest winters on average. Rainfall, heat waves, and other meteorological events aside, if Montreal's -30 degree winters have proven to be too much torture for you, then these are the cities you need to consider.

Average daily max winter temperature: 0.6 C


7. Windsor, Ontario

Average daily max winter temperature: 0.9 C

 


6. Halifax, Nova Scotia

Average daily max winter temperature: 1.0 C


5. St. Catherines, Ontario

Average daily max winter temperature: 1.1 C


4. Kelowna, B.C.

Average daily max winter temperature: 2.6 C


3. Vancouver, B.C

Average daily max winter temperature: 7.1 C


2. Abbotsford, B.C

Average daily max winter temperature: 7.2 C


1. Victoria, B.C

Average daily max winter temperature: 8.8 C
