So many short names for girls this year! I like a nice short and sweet name for a girl (hi, Lena, nice to meet ya).

But, having grown up with a short name, I always yearned for a looooong four syllable name, perfect for lots of nicknames.

I do love the unique spelling of a lot of those girl names, though.

And for the boys...

1. Liam

2. Jackson

3. Noah

4. Lucas

Zayn apparently moved up 33 places from last year β€” hence my One Direction comment, seeing as Liam is also at the top. While Harry didn't make the list there are a lot of classic old-timey boys names like Theodore and Henry.

Is your name on the list? Any names you love or hate?! Let us know your thoughts.
