This Montreal Home Proves Autumn Is The Most Beautiful Season In The City
Beautiful in night and day.
Summer gets too much love in Montreal, especially when there are far more aesthetically pleasing seasons, like fall. Sure, summer may get the warm weather, but autumn provides the most breathtaking colours, which this Montreal house definitely proves.
Titled the "Maison de Chateaubriand," this Montreal residence, which was originally built as a stationmaster's house, used to be quite bland, until architect Anik Peloquin renovated the montreal home into a modern architectural wonder.
Located on Avenue de Châteaubriand in Ahunistic-Cartierville, the surrounding area of the Maison De Chateaubriand has drastically changed since the house was built. Once dominated by railroad tracks, the area around the home now has a tree-filled park to the west, and the renovation of the Maison De Chateaubriand perfectly uses the natural vegetation to compliment the house itself.
Large windows were outfitted into the home, providing an abundance of natural light while also offering a brilliant view of the park's many trees. Wood paneling and furniture found on the inside of the home compliment the tree-filled exterior perfectly, creating an inviting atmosphere throughout the property.
