Dear Mother Nature,\nI understand summer can be a stressful time. Especially in Montreal. Maybe you've decided to thunderstorm because you don't want to deal with the pressure of wearing a bathing suit. Maybe the storm is out of anger because you don't enjoy the noise of the Grand Prix. Or maybe you're trying to watch your weight, and the only way to do so is to rain out the food trucks. I'm honestly not sure.\nBut what I am sure of, is that us Montrealers are good people. We recycle, we pay our taxes, we vote. Not only that, but we put up with the harshest winter in 115 years. Montrealers look forward to the summer like nothing else. It's our reward for being trailblazers of the tundra for over half the year.\nSo, I'm sorry Mother Nature, but the conditions you've been giving us in the past week are just not going to cut it. We want to go out and enjoy a rain-free Sunday at Tam Tams. And I don't want to put off exploring Mural Fest because I'm afraid of the wind blowing my hair into absurdity.\nNeedless to say, I am disappointed. So I'm asking you (begging even) to give us our summer back. It's June 9th. Summer officially starts in T-12 days, and by that point, I hope you see your importance amongst us, and the impact you have. Please give us lots of sunshine in return. *Fingers crossed*.
